Half way through the swim year saw round 1 of the 3 match series for our young swimmers. The Kent junior league is a great chance for our developing talent to be show cased, gaining vast amounts of experience in a noisy, fast moving and intense gala, swimming for the club and team points!
On Saturday 10th June our team travelled to Thanet competing at the Hartsdown Pool, against some of Kent’s top teams including Thanet ‘A’ and Bromley.
Our team featuring swimmers from Silver, Gold, Development, Performance, and our top young talent from Elite, performed extremely well to finish 4th.
The evening started well in the 200 IM with both swimmers delivering PB’s. This started our match well and continued through the night, with many PB swims and some great team spirit.
Other highlights of the night included
Every member of the team being on poolside 15 minutes before the warm up!
1st Thanet A 263
2nd Bromley 228
3rd Barking & Dagenham 169
4th Black Lion SC 157
5th Thanet B 141
6th Herne Bay 96
Well done to everyone who took part. This was a TOP TEAM EFFORT!
